Rates are guides, not obligations
We do not tell guests that they must “cover their seat”. Venue cost is one reference point, while relationship, culture and personal finances also matter.
We distinguish facts from judgement
Venue prices and review dates are treated as factual references. Etiquette advice is clearly presented as guidance rather than a compulsory rule.
We keep uncertainty visible
If packages span a range, we publish the range. If a figure cannot be checked confidently, it should be labelled as an estimate or omitted until better information is available.
No pay-to-rank venue list
Venues are not ranked more highly because they pay for exposure. Any commercial relationship should be clearly labelled and kept separate from rate calculations.
Guides are reviewed before publication
Articles are checked for Singapore relevance, factual consistency, readability and unnecessary repetition before publication or major updates.
Corrections are welcome
If a venue package has changed, readers and venue representatives can contact the site with updated public information so the rate can be reviewed.
