Editorial Standards

Editorial Policy

Our job is to make Singapore ang bao information clearer without turning custom, relationships and personal budgets into a rigid price list.

Real authorship

Guides carry a real byline linked to an author profile. We do not create fictional experts, invented qualifications or AI-generated author identities.

Primary sources first

Official venue packages are preferred for wedding pricing. If only a secondary published reference is available, the record is labelled accordingly.

Data and judgement are separated

A venue price or review date is a factual reference. Advice about friendship, family custom and what feels appropriate is editorial guidance and is written as such.

AI-assisted drafting

AI tools may be used to help structure, edit or draft material. They are not treated as sources. Rates, calculations, local context and final published copy should be checked by a human editor before publication.

No invented certainty

If a package is a range, we keep the range. If a source cannot be checked confidently, we label the limitation or leave the field unfilled rather than manufacture precision.

No pay-to-rank venue list

Commercial relationships do not change a venue's benchmark or ranking. Sponsored material, if introduced, must be clearly labelled and kept separate from rate calculations.

Corrections are part of publishing

Venue pricing changes. We provide a corrections route and record review dates so that readers can judge the freshness of a figure.
